Job summary

Protyre Autocare in Derby is seeking a Truck Tyre Technician to join our growing team. You will perform tyre fitting and repairs on commercial vehicles, ensuring safety and high standards.

If you have a full UK driving licence and experience as a tyre fitter, you will thrive in our busy workshop. We offer training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Full Clean UK Driving Licence held for at least 6 months.
• Experience as commercial or agricultural tyre fitter / mechanic.
• Experience in a professional workshop environment.
• Ability to work in a busy team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and improve knowledge.
• Ability to act on own initiative and take responsibility for the quality of work.

Responsibilities

• Complete tyre fitting and repairs on commercial vehicles.
• Work in a safe manner and comply with health & safety regulations.
• Ensure you do not work on any product or service that you have not been assessed as competent in or trained to conduct.
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with company policies and procedures.
• Making customers and/or management aware of any additional faults found on the customers vehicle.

OurTruck Tyre Techniciansare responsible for competent tyre fitting and repairs, ensuring work is completed on commercial vehicles safely and to a high standard while delivering excellent customer service.

• Location:Based in Derby , callouts as required
• Essential:Full Clean UK Driving Licence, held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply – points or offences may affect your application)

• Full valid Driving Licence
