Job summary

BMW Swindon Dealership is seeking a dedicated Tyre Technician to join a busy workshop team. The role focuses on progressing into more technical wheel and tyre repair work, following manufacturer-approved methods and standards.

You will fit wheels and tyres, assist in refurbishment, and maintain safe, clean work practices while developing skilled, advanced tyre repair capabilities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in tyre-fitting or wheel-related role.
• Experience in a manufacturer-approved environment would be advantageous.
• A Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Willingness to learn and progress to more technical work.

Responsibilities

• Fitting wheels and tyres to a high professional standard.
• Completing wheel refurbishment work, including inspections, repairs, and equipment maintenance.
• Maintaining accurate records of tyre stock and sales, ensuring stock levels are correct.
• Keeping the workshop clean, organised, and safe, including correct disposal of old tyres.
• Taking ownership of the condition, cleanliness, and care of tyre-fitting and refurbishment equipment.

You’ll be joining a busy, supportive team where quality and customer standards matter. This role is ideal for someone who already has tyre-fitting experience and wants to progress into more complex wheel and tyre repair work, following recognised manufacturer-approved methods.

Key responsibilities include:

• Fitting wheels and tyres to a high professional standard

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence
