We are looking for a Tyre Performance Engineer to join us at Enstone. This position will play a crucial role in helping us push for podiums and race wins.
As our Tyre Performance Engineer, you will play an important role providing real time and data driven support to Race Team engineers and Race Drivers to ensure that car setup and tyre utilisation is optimised to achieve the maximum possible overall performance. You will evaluate and optimise tyre utilisation during track tests and race events to ensure maximum overall performance of cars during qualifying and racing.
We are looking to enhance our talented team with someone who has previous experience, ideally within F1 or another high-level motorsport. You will have an active and curious mindset, you will constantly strive to enhance your own capabilities and those of the wider team by helping to improve our methodology and processes, championing best practice, and contributing towards the standardisation of our approach to control strategies.
You should be educated to degree level or equivalent in Engineering with a track record of working to a consistently high standard in pressurised and time sensitive situations.
You will have a strong understanding of tyre physics, vehicle dynamics, simulation and data analysis, with experience in using MATLAB or Python an advantage.
