Job summary

ALPINE RACING LIMITED in the United Kingdom is seeking a Tyre Performance Engineer to contribute to race-winning performance. You will provide real-time data-driven support to race team engineers and drivers to optimise car setup and tyre utilisation for maximum performance.

The role involves developing tyre models, running simulations, and analysing track and test data, with responsibilities split between the factory in Enstone and on-track sessions.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent required.
• Experience in F1 or high-level motorsport preferred.
• Strong understanding of tyre physics and vehicle dynamics.
• Proficient with data analysis and simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time data-driven tyre analysis to race engineers and drivers.
• Develop tyre models and grip mapping methodologies.
• Optimize tyre utilisation during track tests and races.
• Support tyre testing simulations and post-test reporting.
• Improve operational processes and analysis tools.
• Split duties between the factory and racetrack.
