Job summary

ALPINE RACING LIMITED is seeking a Tyre Performance Engineer to join our team at Enstone, split between factory and race track. You will provide real-time data-driven support to race engineers and drivers to optimise tyre usage and car setup for maximum performance, including during track tests and events.

You should have a degree in Engineering and a track record of high-performance motorsport, with strong tyres knowledge and data analysis skills using MATLAB or Python.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in F1 or high-level motorsport is preferred.
• Strong tyre physics, vehicle dynamics, data analysis; proficient in MATLAB or Python.

Responsibilities

• Support pre/in/post-event tyre analysis and reporting.
• Communicate complex concepts under high-pressure situations.
• Develop tyre models, simulations, and grip mapping tools.
• Assist data analysis for tyre testing, model correlation, and forecasting.
• Support tyre simulator testing: specs, real-time support, post-test analysis.
• Continuously improve operational processes and analysis tools.
