Overview

Tyre Fitter/Fast Fit Mechanic required for our client’s family run automotive garage based in Gatwick.

Working as a Tyre Fitter for our client you can expect a salary of up to £32,000 basic.

Duties

• High-quality tyre fitting, including run flat and electric vehicle tyres
• Puncture repairs compliant with BS159AU standards
• Wheel alignment (Hunter trained preferred, IMI certification advantageous)
• Conducting vehicle health checks and fault finding
• Customer liaising to maximise sales and ensure customer satisfaction
• Delivering outstanding customer service and technical support
• Assisting with other fast-fit tasks such as brakes, exhausts, and air conditioning

Requirements

• Enthusiastic and experienced tyre technician with a passion for vehicles
• Strong technical knowledge of tyre fitting and fast-fit services
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
• Multi-tasking skills with a customer-oriented approach
• Additional skills in wheel alignment, brakes, exhausts, or air conditioning are highly desirable
• Experience with agricultural, mower, and implement tyres is a plus
