Job summary

Cathcart Technology is seeking a TypeScript Developer for a 6-month contract in London. You will join an established organisation redeveloping their main product for a new region, focusing on backend API and AWS.

You’ll work in an Agile team, collaborating with Engineers, Design and Front End to deliver the backend platform end-to-end; this is a hybrid role (3 days on site) with an outside IR35 designation.

Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript backend/API development.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services and architecture.
• Familiarity with GraphQL and Node.js.
• Ability to contribute to end-to-end backend development in an Agile team.
• Experience with modern cloud-native tooling and Gen AI concepts.

TypeScript Developer – Outside IR35

TypeScript Developer required on a 6-month contract by our client in London.

Your new role:

We’re looking for TypeScript Developers for a 6-month contract with an established organisation in London. Following their success, they are redeveloping their main product for implementation in a new region. As part of that, they are looking to onboard contract TypeScript Developers with strong backend API and AWS knowledge.

As a TypeScript Developer in the Agile team, you’ll work closely with the Engineers, Design, and Front End teams to develop the new platform’s Back End. As a contractor within the team, you’ll be expected to get up to speed quickly and contribute to the whole backend development process, from ideation to delivery.

The Rate:

For the right person, we have a day rate of £500 – £550, depending on your experience and what you can add to the project. It’s hybrid (3 days), outside IR35 and will likely extend long-term.
