Thorn Baker Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Manager to cover a two-week period across construction sites in the West Midlands (Brierley Hill and Redditch areas). The role involves traditional build housing projects and requires managing all site activities to deliver safely, on time, and to the required quality.

Key qualifications include a full clean driving licence and proven experience as a Site Manager on housing developments.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within traditional new build housing projects.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and site personnel.
• Strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organise and manage day-to-day site operations effectively and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards at all times.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and labour to maintain smooth progress on site.
• Monitor project schedules and resources, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Maintain accurate site records including daily reports, site diaries, and risk assessments.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship and materials meet specifications.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders professionally and promptly.
• Manage the delivery and storage of materials to reduce waste and prevent delays.
• Ensure that all site activities adhere to company policies and relevant construction regulations.
• Resolve on-site issues promptly to minimise disruption and maintain progress.
