Job summary

Thorn Baker Construction is seeking an Assistant Site Manager for a brand-new housing site in Worcester. The role starts on 2 November on a 1-year contract, working on day-to-day site operations under the Site Manager.

You will manage subcontractors, monitor build quality, ensure health and safety standards, and help keep the project on programme. SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid are required; prior experience on new-build housing projects is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous Assistant Site Manager experience on new-build housing projects
• SMSTS qualification is required
• CSCS card is required
• First Aid certification is required

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the site
• Managing subcontractors and trades
• Monitoring build quality and progress
• Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained
• Helping ensure the project is delivered to programme
