Job summary

Diocese of Salisbury Academy Trust is seeking a dedicated Premises Manager to oversee two church-led primary academies—Southbroom St James and Trinity Church of England Primary Academy. You will ensure safe, well-maintained environments across both campuses, coordinating maintenance, site checks and contractor management, while upholding the Christian ethos of each school.

Qualifications

• Experience in premises management, caretaking or maintenance.
• Understanding of health & safety responsibilities and willingness to undertake training.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and respond proactively to issues.
• Pride in well maintained, safe and attractive school environments.
• Commitment to supporting children and staff within Christian, community centred settings.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day upkeep, safety and presentation of both school premises.
• Coordinate routine maintenance, site checks, compliance tasks and health & safety procedures.
• Collaborate with Headteachers, admin teams and DSAT colleagues to plan maintenance and contractor management.
• Present high-quality learning environments reflecting each school's Christian ethos.
