2 Sisters Food Group, Cavaghan & Gray site in Carlisle, seeks an experienced operations leader to oversee two Carlisle sites. You will drive performance, align teams to a shared operational vision and deliver continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes.

This hands-on role requires proven experience in short shelf-life food manufacturing, strong production metrics skills, and the ability to lead large, diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in short shelf-life food manufacturing.
• Strong production metrics knowledge and ability to leverage them for performance gains.
• Hands-on leader able to roll up their sleeves and work with teams.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through change and modernise legacy operations.

Responsabilités

• Full operational responsibility across two Carlisle sites.
• Lead, motivate, and align teams to a shared operational vision.
• Drive performance improvement initiatives using data, root cause analysis, and KPIs.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across processes.
• Champion accountability, collaboration, and staff development.
• Address legacy challenges and prepare for future growth.
• Delegate effectively to empower the right people.
