TeamJobs is recruiting a hands-on Warehouse Manager in Poole to take ownership of the twilight operation, guiding a team of 10–16 operatives to ensure orders are picked and dispatched by 2:00am. This role is hands-on, not desk-based, with high standards in performance and safety.

You will manage rotas, recruitment, investigations and disciplinaries while supporting the transition to handheld scanners and liaising with transport teams to ensure smooth handovers.

Qualifications

• Experience managing twilight/overnight warehouse operations.
• Proven leadership of teams in busy warehouse/distribution environments.
• Confident in people management and holding standards; hands-on when needed.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the twilight warehouse operation.
• Lead and motivate a team of 10-16 Warehouse Operatives.
• Ensure orders are picked and ready for despatch by 2:00am.
• Manage rotas, recruitment, investigations and disciplinaries.
• Maintain health & safety and housekeeping standards.
• Support the move from paper pick lists to handheld scanners.
