Job summary

National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) seeks a part-time Childline Twilight Practitioner in Glasgow to cover twilight and night hours. You will supervise volunteers, support children and young people, and make safeguarding decisions during shifts.

You will work a hybrid rota with some home-based days and on-site shifts, contributing to a high-quality, compassionate service for young people and their families, with a 10.5% rota allowance.

Qualifications

• Strong background working with children and young people within a safeguarding context.
• Ability to support volunteers and provide coaching and supervision.
• Willingness to work twilight and night hours in a hybrid rota.

Responsibilities

• Support volunteers during talks with children and young people.
• Lead on on-shift safeguarding decisions.
• Provide supervision, coaching, training and support to volunteers outside of shifts.
