Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualification in safeguarding field with post-qualification safeguarding experience.
• Understanding of children’s needs and development.
• Knowledge of current childcare legislation and best practice guidance.
• Experience in a high-demand, customer-focused environment.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly by telephone and written form.

Responsibilities

• Provide safeguarding advice to children and adults by telephone and in writing.
• Assess, collect and summarise essential information and record it accurately.
• Promote NSPCC services and values to diverse audiences, including fundraisers and media.
