Job summary

Leuchie House is seeking a part-time Twilight Care Assistant to join a multi-disciplinary team providing person-centred care to guests, supporting daily living activities and nutrition.

You will respond to call bells, document care provided, and promote dignity and wellbeing while adhering to policies and safety procedures. PVG check and UK driving licence are noted preferences; no prior experience is required as training is provided.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK (essential)
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (Preferred due to remote location)
• No experience necessary (fully funded training provided)
• Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check required
• Good communication skills and compassionate nature

Responsibilities

• Support guests with personal care, daily living activities and nutrition.
• Respond to call bells and report concerns to nursing staff.
• Record care provided and changes using care documentation systems.
• Promote dignity, independence, and choice for all guests.
• Support emotional and wellbeing needs of guests and visitors.
• Follow Leuchie House policies and care plans.
• Follow Health & Safety, hygiene, COSHH and manual handling procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as required.
