Bothwell Castle Care Home in Scotland is seeking a Care Assistant to provide person-centred care for residents, with a focus on dignity and wellbeing. The role involves assisting with daily living, mobility, nutrition and emotional support within a warm, team-based environment.

We welcome applicants with or without prior care experience and offer full training, guidance, and ongoing development. PVG pension, uniform provided, and 5.6 weeks annual leave are included with part-time hours from 5pm

Located within the picturesque and historic area of South Lanarkshire, our care home is a private, luxurious care facility that offers Residential, Dementia, Nursing and Respite care for 75-residents.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to part time hours per week - 5pm - midnight
• Paid PVG pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
