Job summary

The Edwin Group in Salford is seeking a Tutor to deliver 1:1 tuition for students who cannot attend mainstream education. You will support pupils with SEND needs and deliver Maths and English sessions up to GCSE level.

Sessions range from 1–5 hours per day, 2–5 days per week, across homes, libraries, or school sites. This role offers long-term placements to provide consistency and structure for students and collaboration with social workers and SEN teams.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification required (QTS/QTLS/PGCE or equivalent).
• Experience working with SEND students is essential.
• Confident delivering Maths and English sessions.
• Strong relationship-building skills with students and teams.
