GSL Education is seeking an experienced 1:1 tutor to provide in-person tuition in Goole, East Riding of Yorkshire. The role is part-time/flexible with ASAP start and a salary of £26 - £35 per hour.

The tutor will deliver engaging 1:1 sessions, adapt lessons to individual needs, monitor progress, and work with parents and professionals to support the learner's progress in a safe learning environment.

Formación

GSL Education are currently seeking experienced and dedicated 1:1 Tutors to provide in‑person tuition to children and young people in the Goole area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher, tutor or experienced education professional who is passionate about supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and helping them make positive progress with their education.

The Role

• Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition in person.
• Plan and adapt sessions to meet the individual learner's needs and abilities.
• Support the pupil to develop confidence, engagement and independence.
• Monitor progress and provide appropriate feedback.
• Build a positive and trusting relationship with the learner.
• Work collaboratively with parents, carers and other professionals where appropriate.
• Maintain a safe, supportive and positive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher, experienced Tutor or education professional.
• Previous experience delivering 1:1 tuition is desirable.
• Patient, supportive and able to build positive relationships with young people.
• Able to adapt teaching to individual needs.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.
