Job summary

Delphi Care Solutions in Cotgrave (Nottinghamshire) is seeking an Interim Registered Manager/Turnaround Manager to stabilise a busy domiciliary care service during a period of transition. You will lead day-to-day operations for around 40 care packages, overseeing governance with directors and the senior care team.

This hands-on assignment requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge and a track record of service improvement, with an immediate start and a competitive day rate.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Registered Manager or Interim Manager in domiciliary care.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards.
• Track record of improving services and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing staffing, rotas, recruitment, and performance.
• Able to work autonomously during change periods.
• Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading daily domiciliary care operations, including rota management, staffing and on-call arrangements.
• Reviewing care plans, risk assessments and medication records, ensuring immediate safety concerns are identified and addressed.
• Driving improvements in response to regulatory requirements and implementing a clear action plan with measurable outcomes.
• Introducing robust audit processes, governance systems and staff competency frameworks.
• Supporting recruitment and onboarding of a permanent Registered Manager.
• Providing leadership, coaching and operational support to the existing team.
• Using the Birdie care management system to monitor service delivery and compliance.
