Job summary

Delphi Care Solutions recruits on behalf of a Bolton-based residential care provider for an Interim Turnaround Manager to steer a significant improvement and compliance programme. You will work hands-on to deliver governance and quality improvements while supporting the Registered Manager and senior leadership.

The role focuses on responding to SIN, embedding improvements in safeguarding, staffing, care planning, and governance, and coaching the existing management team for long-term

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Interim Manager or Turnaround Manager within adult social care.
• Proven ability to improve underperforming services and navigate improvement notices.
• Knowledge of CQC governance and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Local Authority Service Improvement Notices (SIN) and support governance.
• Embed and evidence improvements across safeguarding, staffing, care planning, and governance.
• Review staffing structures, rota management, and workload planning.
• Strengthen safeguarding, incident reporting, and escalation procedures.
• Audit and improve care records, including MCA docs and care plans.
• Review medication systems and implement competency assessments.
