Job summary

Assystem UK Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support Turbine Island design within the Fusion and Modular Nuclear Business Unit.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams and suppliers to develop, check, and deliver design documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and project requirements. The role requires 2:1 BEng in Mechanical Engineering, experience in regulated sectors, and strong CAD/FEA skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:1 BEng in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Join the Fusion and Modular Nuclear Business Unit.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and supply chain to deliver Turbine Island design.
• Ensure supplier deliverables meet requirements and design intent.
• Develop and check design documents with Senior Engineers.
• Assist in design development activities.
