Job summary

Sellick Partnership in Derby is seeking an experienced HR Consultant to lead an end-to-end TUPE transfer project on a confidential basis. This 8-week, office-based assignment requires a capable professional to manage planning through completion on-site.

You will provide expert TUPE guidance, liaise with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with the 2006 Regulations, terms and protections, while keeping sensitive information confidential.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering end-to-end TUPE transfers.
• Detailed knowledge of the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006.
• Experience of both business transfers and service provision changes.
• Strong employment law knowledge and sound HR judgement.
• CIPD qualified or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing the full TUPE transfer process
• Providing expert advice on TUPE Regulations 2006
• Coordinating consultation and engagement activities with affected employees and representatives
• Liaising with internal stakeholders, trade unions, legal advisors, transferor and transferee organisations
• Managing and reviewing Employee Liability Information (ELI)
• Ensuring all statutory consultation requirements and timescales are met
• Identifying and mitigating TUPE-related risks
• Supporting due diligence activities and project planning
• Providing practical HR guidance regarding terms and conditions, continuity of employment, and employee protections
• Ensuring all documentation is accurate, compliant and maintained confidentially
