Job summary

Sellick Partnership in Derby seeks an experienced HR Consultant to lead a TUPE transfer project for up to 8 weeks, on-site at our client’s Derby location. The role requires a strong background in TUPE and Employment Law, with the ability to independently drive planning through to completion.

You will manage the full TUPE transfer process, provide expert regulatory guidance, coordinate consultations, liaise with unions and advisers, and ensure accurate, confidential documentation and risk

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering end-to-end TUPE transfers.
• Detailed knowledge of the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006.
• Experience of both business transfers and service provision changes.
• Strong understanding of consultation obligations, employee liability information requirements, and post-transfer considerations.
• Strong employment law knowledge and sound HR judgement.
• CIPD qualified or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing the full TUPE transfer process.
• Providing expert advice on TUPE Regulations 2006.
• Coordinating consultation and engagement activities with affected employees and representatives.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders, trade unions, legal advisors, transferor and transferee organisations.
• Managing and reviewing Employee Liability Information (ELI).
• Ensuring all statutory consultation requirements and timescales are met.
• Identifying and mitigating TUPE-related risks.
• Supporting due diligence activities and project planning.
• Providing practical HR guidance regarding terms and conditions, continuity of employment, and employee protections.
• Ensuring all documentation is accurate, compliant and maintained confidentially.
