Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Site Supervisor for a water infrastructure project in Blackpool. This 6-month contract involves tunnelling and shaft construction, with an immediate start for an experienced underground civils supervisor.

The role runs 7:00am–7:00pm with weekend flexibility to meet the programme. You will supervise site operatives and subcontractors, coordinate materials, plant and labour, and ensure safe, on-schedule delivery to specification.

• Overseeing tunnelling, shaft sinking and related civils works
• Coordinating plant, labour and site activities
• Delivering works safely, on programme and to specification
• Experience supervising water infrastructure schemes beneficial

Responsibilities

• Health and safety compliance on site
• Ordering materials and coordinating deliveries
• Supervising site operatives and subcontractors
• Overseeing tunnelling and shaft sinking works

• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, to spec and quality
• Monitoring site records and QA documentation
