Job summary

NRL Group is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager in London to lead tunnelling, shaft sinking, and related civil works on a major rail infrastructure programme. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with subcontractors, and drive safety, quality, and timely delivery across complex underground packages.

The role requires a proven track record delivering large civil projects, with strong leadership in heavy civil construction and rail environments.

Qualifications

Proven experience delivering large-scale civil engineering projects.
Strong background in infrastructure, highways, rail, utilities, or heavy civil construction.
Experience managing subcontractors and large site-based teams.
Demonstrable success delivering projects through all phases of construction.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of major construction packages.
Manage project teams, subcontractors, and key stakeholders to achieve programme objectives.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Oversee construction activities including civil engineering, underground structures, shafts, and tunnelling operations.
Monitor and manage project risks, opportunities, and change control processes.
Drive programme performance and ensure adherence to project milestones.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, supply chain partners, and internal stakeholders.
