Job summary

International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) is seeking a Solutions Engineer for IBM HashiCorp to partner with Sales Executives and support the entire customer journey. You will drive technical wins, onboarding, adoption, and renewals, acting as a trusted advisor with strong communication to diverse stakeholders.

You will collaborate with Solutions Architecture, Customer Success, Professional Services, Product Management, and Engineering to design value-driven, multi-product solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Technical Pre-Sales or Sales Engineering roles, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in DevOps concepts, IT operations, cloud, security and related technologies.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales Executives to support the customer journey and pipeline creation.
• Deliver presentations, demos, technical engagements, and workshops to drive technical wins.
• Guide customers through value realization, adoption, and renewal strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Solutions Architecture, Customer Success, Product, Engineering) to ensure customer success.
