Solution Architect – Digital Engineering

We are looking for a passionate professional who can build robust solutions to business and technology challenges using PLM and Digital Engineering technologies. You will rapidly analyze complex business information and recommend solution options.

Your Role And Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients, consultants and delivery teams to determine business‑specific solution needs.
• Define and architect solutions to clients Digital Engineering needs, both business and technical.
• Determine, create and maintain architectural artifacts (documentation, models) through all phases.
• Support the Project Manager to meet business needs, governance approvals and delivery timescales.
• Provide leadership and technical direction at all levels in the team.
• Provide strategic and enterprise‑level input to aid clients in constructing a holistic solution across their data and application landscape.
• Apply architectural principles and thinking to the project, documenting processes, procedures and standards.
• Identify application integration requirements, maintenance needs, upgrades, and data migration activities.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Knowledge of digital solutions within the Product Engineering domain.
• Provide evidence‑based architectural options, alternatives, rationales and recommendations.
• Experience of working in and contributing to successful client projects.

• Continual development of expertise and knowledge of client issues based on experience.
• Ability to create and present architectural artifacts for governance forums.
• Build and manage trusted relationships with client architects at all levels, strengthening IBM Consulting services capabilities.

• Understanding of migration and interface techniques and tools such as ETL, Enterprise Service Bus.
• Awareness of enterprise architecture frameworks like Zachman or TOGAF.
