A leading NHS trust is offering an excellent opportunity in dermatology, providing experience in both inpatient and outpatient services. The role includes clinical commitments, educational supervision, and opportunities for research and audits. Ideal candidates should hold MRCP and be eager to enhance their dermatology career.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in both inpatient and outpatient dermatology services within a vibrant Dermatology Department. We have a dedicated CESR training educational supervisor and support applicants pursuing a dermatology career via the CESR route.
This is a cross-site post (Ealing and Northwick Park hospitals), with allocated educational and clinical supervision. Clinical commitments include outpatient clinics in general dermatology and two-week wait clinics, minor operative procedures, and inpatient ward work in rotation with specialty doctors.
There is time allocated for CPD and opportunities to present interesting cases at local meetings. The successful candidate will be actively involved in departmental audits and have opportunities to participate in clinical research, as Northwick Park undertakes clinical trials and portfolio studies.
Special training considerations include journal clubs and complex case clinics, providing ample opportunities to discuss cases with multiple consultants.
The candidate should preferably hold MRCP.
