Service Care Solutions are recruiting for experiencedPaediatricianswho specialise inAutism & ADHD Assessmentsfor Children and Adolescents, aged 3-18yrs.
Please note: only qualified Paediatricians with extensive ASD/ADHD assessment experience, within the above age bracket,will be considered for this role.
Location:Remote (work must be performed within the UK). Onsite appointments available at Dorchester and Canterbury for inflated rates.
Pay:to be discussed in interview pre screen
Hours:minimum of 3 days per week (12 appointments per week)
Duties:
- Conducting comprehensive developmental histories using preferred methods/tools to evaluate children undergoing autism and ADHD assessments.
- Observing the child/young person during sessions and ensuring questions are asked in an age-appropriate and compassionate manner.
- Reviewing ADOS reports, developmental history, and relevant collateral information from home and school in the same session.
- Formulating a diagnosis, concluding the assessment, and providing feedback to the family in a kind, age-appropriate, and compassionate manner, including recommendations and signposting to local/national resources.
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) in cases where further information is required, and offering a separate follow-up session to conclude the diagnosis.
- Producing high-quality, detailed diagnostic reports within 48 hours post-assessment, adhering to DSM-5 criteria and report templates. (Admin support for formatting and quality control is provided).
- Requesting onward referrals as clinically necessary, in line with local NHS Trust/ICB protocols.
Clinics:- Up to four appointments per day between 9am and 5pm, paid on a competitive per assessment tariff (self-employed, outside IR35).

- Free CPD opportunities and training for further neurodevelopmental assessments, such as ADHD.
What We’re Looking For:- GMC-registered doctor with a valid license to practice.
- CCT in Paediatrics preferred, but not essential.
- Expertise and confidence in ASD and/or ADHD assessments for children and young people.
- Able to travel to site to undertake face to face work.
- Up-to-date with revalidation and appraisal processes.
