Overview

Barts Health NHS Trust – Whipps Cross Hospital in East London. Post: FY1 in General Surgery. 6‑month appointment from 9 February 2026 to 4 August 2026.

Responsibilities

• Will work as an FY1 under one of the consultants within the General Surgery Unit.
• Responsible for inpatient elective and emergency work and will support the surgical team while on call.
• Opportunities to train and work closely with the Upper GI and Colorectal teams, including clinic, theatre and on‑call duties.
