The Education Alliance is seeking a Trust Catering Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership of catering services across TEAL. You will lead Catering Managers and teams across multiple schools to ensure high-quality, compliant, and financially sustainable catering for pupils, staff and visitors.

The role is based at South Hunsley School in Melton, with travel to other TEAL schools as required.

Description du poste

The Trust Catering Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership of catering services across the trust, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and financially sustainable catering provision for pupils, staff, and visitors. The postholder will lead and support Catering Managers and catering teams across multiple schools, ensuring consistent standards, continuous improvement, and alignment with trust values, statutory requirements, and commercial best practice.

The role is based at South Hunsley School in Melton due to its close proximity to the TEAL building, however, you will be required to travel to other TEAL schools to provide support as required.

The role is permanent, up to full-time, and will be paid on TEAL's Associate Pay Scale, scale point 23-26 ( 31,758 - 38,510) depending on experience. The role is term-time, plus an additional 74 hours to be worked during school closure periods.

What are we looking for?

• We are looking for an experienced individual with a high level of transferrable knowledge and skills.

You will have:

• Confidence using IT systems
• Experience of managing catering across multiple sites or large-scale catering services.
• Knowledge of school food standards.
• understanding of food safety legislation, health and safety requirements, and allergen management.

Experience in a similar role is desirable as is prior experience of the education sector, but these are not essential requirements, as training will be provided.
