Job summary

The Education Alliance is seeking a Trust Catering Manager to lead catering across the trust, ensuring high-quality, compliant and financially sustainable provision for pupils, staff and visitors. You will drive standards and improvements across multiple schools.

The post is based at South Hunsley School in Melton, with travel to TEAL schools as required. It is a permanent, full-time role (term-time plus 74 hours) paid on TEAL’s Associate Pay Scale (£31,758 – £38,510) depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing catering across multiple sites or large-scale catering services.
• Knowledge of school food standards.
• Understanding of food safety legislation, health and safety requirements, and allergen management.
• Confidence using IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership of catering services across the trust, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and financially sustainable catering provision for pupils, staff, and visitors.
• Lead and support Catering Managers and catering teams across multiple schools, ensuring consistent standards, continuous improvement, and alignment with trust values, statutory requirements, and commercial best practice.
• Travel to TEAL schools to provide support as required.
