Tarleton Academy is seeking a friendly Catering Assistant to support the dining service for students and staff. You will work with the Catering Manager in a busy school environment, handling food prep, cooking, serving, and keeping the dining area inviting.
The role is part-time (20 hours), permanent, term-time only with inset days, offering a supportive team and opportunities for professional development within a trusted local school.

Working alongside our talented Catering Manager and a supportive team, you’ll play an important part in every step of the service—from preparing and cooking to serving and keeping the dining area inviting and clean. Each day brings something different and gives you the chance to make a real difference, helping to keep our students happy, fuelled, and ready to learn.
We’re looking for someone with experience in food preparation and a good understanding of basic food hygiene. A flair for customer care and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team will help you thrive in this busy, rewarding role. This post is part time (20hrs), permanent and term time only plus inset days. Working hours are Monday to Friday 10:45am to 2:45pm
