ALT Trust is seeking an Attendance Support role focused on pupils with the poorest attendance, including those at risk of becoming persistently absent. You will work under the Attendance Lead to provide targeted family-based support and coordinate with safeguarding, inclusion, and external agencies.

Travel between ALT Trust schools and family homes is required, with induction and ongoing professional development offered. A generous pension scheme and Cycle to Work are among the benefits.

• Experience of working with children, young people and families, managing complex cases and building positive relationships with families is essential.

The role will focus on pupils whose attendance is poorest, including those who are persistently or severely absent or at risk of becoming so. You will provide targeted, relationship-based support to pupils and their families, helping to identify and reduce barriers to regular attendance.

Working under the direction of the Trust Attendance Lead and Trust Safeguarding and Inclusion Lead, you will liaise closely with school attendance, safeguarding, pastoral and inclusion teams, as well as external agencies, to ensure that support is coordinated, timely and effective. Experience of working with children, young people and families, managing complex cases and building positive relationships with families is essential.
