Job summary

OneMedical Group is seeking a Triage Clinician to assess adult and paediatric patients with minor illness and injury in Sheffield. You will identify clinical urgency, provide appropriate advice and signpost to the correct care pathway, helping ensure timely care based on individual needs.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary urgent care team, you will use clinical judgment and communication skills to prioritise patients safely, recognise deterioration and escalate concerns promptly,

Summary

Are you an experienced registered clinician with strong triage skills and a passion for delivering safe, responsive care? At OneMedical Group, we are looking for a confident and compassionate Triage Clinician to assess adult and paediatric patients presenting with minor illness and injury. You will identify clinical urgency, provide appropriate advice and signposting, and help ensure each patient receives timely care based on their individual needs. Working as part of a multidisciplinary urgent care team, you will use your clinical judgment and communication skills to prioritise patients safely, recognise deterioration and elevate concerns promptly. You will also help maintain the safety and wellbeing of patients while they are waiting to be seen.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Triage Clinician, you will provide an effective initial clinical assessment and ensure patients are prioritised, supported and directed to the most appropriate care pathway.
