You will inspect trees, monitor tree management contracts, support project delivery, maintain tree-related data and provide professional advice on operational, insurance, risk and resident enquiries. You will also work closely with contractors, council colleagues, elected members and community stakeholders to ensure the service is safe, responsive and well managed

Excellent training and development opportunities, plus a range of benefits including:

  • Local Government Pension scheme
  • Flexible working and family friendly policies
  • Season ticket and bicycle loans
  • A range of staff discounts including local subsidised gym memberships
  • Supportive staff networks
What we’re looking for

You will be organised, able to manage deadlines and confident preparing reports, briefings and written responses. You will also be able to communicate clearly with a wide range of people, including residents, colleagues, elected members and external organisations

Location

The job is primarily based in Lewisham, but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis. The role will also involve site visits across the borough as part of the inspection, monitoring and delivery of the tree service.
