Job summary

Ministry of Justice is seeking a Treatment Manager to oversee the quality, facilitation and delivery of Accredited Programmes and Structured Interventions addressing offending behaviour). The role is regionally based, reporting to a Programme Manager, with no direct line management but supervision to Programme Facilitators and professional guidance to enhance performance and development opportunities.

The Treatment Manager will ensure programmes comply with the Accredited Programme manual,

Qualifications

• Experienced Programmes Facilitator with knowledge of Accredited Programmes and Theory Manual
• Experience in Criminal Justice or Social Care sector
• Knowledge of group dynamics and ability to motivate groups and individuals to participate

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality delivery of Accredited Programmes and Structured Interventions
• Provide professional supervision to Programme Facilitators within the region
• Offer training and consultancy to staff and external organisations including Practitioners and Court staff
• Manage risks presented by people on Probation while ensuring information is exchanged with Probation Practitioners
• Coordinate planning for delivering programmes and manage waiting lists
• Monitor and support Programme Facilitators to develop skills and address under‑performance
• Oversee risk management during delivery and communicate with Probation Practitioners
• Maintain updates to accredited programme manuals and implement changes
• Deliver accredited and non‑accredited programmes as required
