Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is partnering with a leading social housing provider to recruit a senior treasury professional. This permanent, full-time role is 37 hours per week, with a salary up to £75,000 and predominantly remote working from the UK.

You will own the day-to-day treasury, build cash-flow forecasts, model development expenditure and housing income timing, and prepare reports for senior management. Direct social housing experience is essential; you must be confident to take ownership from day

Qualifications

• Direct social housing experience is essential.
• Experience building and managing cash-flow forecasts from the ground up.
• Strong Excel, forecasting and financial modelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the day-to-day treasury function, including daily cash management and weekly liquidity monitoring.
• Build and manage short-, medium- and long-term cash-flow forecasts.
• Model development expenditure, property sales and housing income timing.
• Incorporate committed and uncommitted development pipelines into cash-flow and liquidity forecasting.
• Monitor liquidity and identify when additional funding or lender drawdowns may be required.
• Manage and monitor debt facilities, loan repayments, interest and covenant compliance.
• Support long-term business planning, scenario modelling and stress testing.
• Maintain treasury records, reconciliations, bank mandates and authorised signatory controls.
• Build strong relationships with lenders, advisers and senior internal stakeholders.
• Produce clear and accurate treasury, liquidity and funding reports for senior management and relevant Committees.
