Job summary

South Lakes Housing is seeking a finance professional to support treasury operations, development reporting and growth plans in a role that blends hands-on accounting with cash-flow forecasting.

You will report to the Head of Finance and work across the organisation to manage funding, perform reconciliations and provide financial insight that underpins home investment and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified, AAT-qualified or qualified by experience.
• Accurate, practical accounting approach.
• Hybrid role with collaboration across the business.

We’re partnering with a social housing provider to recruit a finance professional to support its treasury operations, development reporting and wider growth plans. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll combine hands‑on accounting with cash‑flow forecasting and financial insight, helping the organisation manage its funding and invest in homes.

The Role:

• Process treasury transactions, prepare cash forecasts
• Monitor loan movements, liquidity and covenant compliance.
• Support development management accounts, budgets and forecasts
• Working with budget holders to explain performance and variances.
• Complete reconciliations
• Support funding, security records, statutory reporting and audit requirements.

About You:

• You’ll be part-qualified, AAT-qualified or qualified by experience
• Have an accurate, practical approach to accounting.
• The role offers a mix of detailed financial work and collaboration with colleagues across the business.
