Niyaa People Ltd is seeking a Senior Treasury Manager with direct social housing experience to lead a key treasury function. The role focuses on cash management, liquidity forecasting and long-term business planning, with development activity driving cash flow at the core.
Candidates should have hands-on treasury expertise in a social housing context and proven business planning experience, able to work remotely with occasional Peterborough office attendance.
Step into a rewarding permanent opportunity with a leading social housing provider, offering a salary of up to £75,000, predominantly remote working, excellent benefits and the opportunity to take ownership of a key treasury function.
This is a senior, hands‑on Treasury Manager role requiring someone with strong treasury expertise and, importantly, direct social housing experience and proven business planning experience.
The successful Treasury Manager must already understand how social housing operates and how factors such as development activity, shared ownership, sales receipts and future development pipelines feed into cash flow, liquidity and long‑term business planning.
Please note: candidates must have both direct social housing experience and previous business planning experience. Candidates who do not meet both of these essential requirements will not be considered.
This is not a role for someone looking to step up into treasury, transition into social housing for the first time, or develop their business planning experience. You will need to be confident working independently and able to take ownership of the treasury function from day one.
Due to the specialist nature of the position, the successful Treasury Manager must already have an understanding of social housing terminology, development activity and how housing‑sector financial drivers impact cash flow, liquidity and long‑term business planning.
Please note – essential requirements Direct social housing experience and business planning experience are both essential for this position. Candidates must have experience of working within social housing and must also have previous experience with business planning. Candidates who do not meet both requirements will not be considered.
This role is predominantly remote, with attendance at the Peterborough office required approximately one to two times per month for team meetings and collaboration.
