Job summary

Niyaa People is seeking a senior Treasury Manager for a largely remote role with monthly attendance at the Peterborough office. You will own the treasury function, manage cash flow, liquidity, and debt facilities, and work closely with Finance and Development teams within a social housing context.

Essential: direct social housing experience and business planning experience. This position demands strong modelling, stakeholder management and independent working capabilities.

Qualifications

• Direct experience in social housing, a Housing Association or Registered Provider.
• Experience contributing to or managing business planning within a social housing environment.
• Proven treasury-focused experience (Treasury Accountant/Manager/Analyst).
• Experience building cash-flow forecasts from the ground up.
• Strong daily/weekly liquidity management experience.
• Understanding of housing-sector financial drivers (shared ownership, Right X...).
• Experience with debt facilities, loan drawdowns and covenant compliance.
• Experience contributing to business planning, scenario modelling and stress testing.
• Ability to work independently and own a treasury function.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day treasury function including cash management.
• Build short-, medium- and long-term cash-flow forecasts.
• Model timing of development expenditure and housing income.
• Incorporate development pipelines into cash-flow and liquidity forecasting.
• Monitor liquidity and identify funding requirements.
• Maintain treasury records, bank mandates and signatory controls.
• Produce treasury reports for senior management and committees.
