Department Description

Channel 4's Finance team aims to be trusted advisors, supporting decision-making through insightful analysis and accurate reporting, ensuring sustainability via strong financial controls and compliance.

Job Purpose

The role involves providing treasury reporting, advice, and recommendations, managing working capital, investment, and capital structure strategies, short-term cash forecasting, and maintaining banking relationships.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage banking relationships and KYC requirements
2. Oversee RCF facility reporting
3. Review and optimize capital structure and liquidity sources
4. Manage investment strategies for cash balances
5. Produce and report on 13-week cash flow forecasts
6. Update Treasury Policy
7. Manage ESG reporting related to facilities
8. Handle working capital profile
9. Prepare materials for Treasury Risk Committee
10. Manage FX trading and forecasts
11. Review monthly bank reconciliations
12. Prepare Treasury Notes for Annual Report
13. Improve treasury processes and controls
14. Collaborate with FP&A for cash requirements
15. Support strategic projects

Essential Experience & Skills

• Proven treasury experience or relevant qualification
• Experience in low-risk cash investments
• Relevant degrees (finance, accounting, banking)
• Cash flow forecasting experience
• Understanding of cash management structures
• Analytical skills with data interpretation

Salary

Starting from £70,000 per annum.
