Job summary

Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Head of Treasury Management to lead treasury operations, cash and liquidity management, and controls within a senior finance team.

You will drive forecasting, reporting and value-adding financial governance, working with auditors, regulators and senior stakeholders to support patient care through sound financial stewardship.

Qualifications

• Masters level education or equivalent training and experience.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.
• ECDL or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Improve debtor recovery, creditor management and cash conversion; ensure compliance with NHS England guidance, statutory requirements and Trust governance; oversee reporting, audit support, policies and controls.
• Lead monthly VAT returns, advise on NHS VAT and liaise with HMRC and external advisers.
• Champion continuous improvement, automation and digital transformation across Treasury, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Lead Treasury, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and shape financial strategy to improve working capital.
