Job summary

Gi Group is hiring an Infeed Operative for our Warrington tray wash facility. The role supports the production line by feeding dirty trays and packaging into the wash system, ensuring steady throughput and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.

Working in a busy environment, you will stand for long periods, work 12-hour shifts on a 3-on/3-off cycle, and collaborate with the wash line team to hit daily targets while maintaining high cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort dirty trays, crates, and packaging.
• Inspect items for contamination and damage.
• Load items onto the infeed conveyor at the correct rate.
• Maintain a steady flow to keep the washer line running.
• Report blockages or faults to supervisor.
• Follow site health and safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Assist with cleaning and housekeeping at the infeed station.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily production targets.
• Complete production, quality, or safety records accurately.
