The role includes providing companionship and ensuring residents enjoy meaningful time with carers on every shift. Travel requires access to a car; mileage is covered beyond five miles from your home.

Qualifications

• A background in care is important for the role.
• GCSE English and Maths at a C grade or above.
• Own car or ready access to one for travel across the area.

Responsibilities

• Monitor delivery of care when on duty and contribute to person-centred care planning for each resident.
• Record observations such as temperature and blood pressure among other tasks.
• Provide support and companionship and ensure residents enjoy meaningful one-to-one time on every shift.
