Tameside College in Ashton-Under-Lyne is seeking a passionate Teacher of Travel and Tourism to design and deliver engaging learning experiences that inspire and support learners to achieve their full potential. You will shape and develop the curriculum, monitor progress, provide meaningful feedback, and work with colleagues and industry partners to prepare students for further study and careers.

A Level 4 teaching qualification or equivalent is required, with Level 3 literacy/numeracy and Level

Qualifications

• Experience in travel and tourism sector is essential.
• literacy and numeracy to at least Level 2.
• Level 3 qualification or NVQ (or equivalent) required.
• Level 4 Teaching Qualification or Level 5 Diploma (DTLLS) within 3 years of appointment.

Responsabilités

• Plan, deliver and develop teaching/learning programmes using a flexible range of strategies.
• Assess learners’ progress in college or work experience and devise assessment processes against progress targets.
• Provide meaningful feedback and contribute to curriculum development.
• Collaborate with colleagues and industry partners to support learners’ career goals.
