Job summary

Leeds City College, Printworks campus, is seeking a Teacher of Travel and Aviation to inspire the next generation. The role is full-time and open to both qualified and non-qualified teachers, with full training provided as part of the role.

You will deliver Level 1–3 travel and tourism courses, share industry experience to bring learning to life, assess learner progress, and help learners develop practical skills for careers in travel, tourism and aviation.

Qualifications

• Previous industry experience in travel and/or aviation.
• Experience in roles such as overseas representative, tour guide, cabin crew, cruise operations, tour operator sales representative, or airport operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across Level 1 to Level 3 travel and tourism courses.
• Share real-world industry experience to bring learning to life.
• Support learners to develop practical skills and confidence for careers in travel, tourism, and aviation.
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Inspire and motivate young people to explore opportunities in the travel and tourism sector.
• Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring content reflects current industry standards.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and industry partners to enhance the learning experience.
