Job summary

Lindum Group is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee new build and refurbishment projects across the East Midlands and Lincolnshire. You will manage design teams, subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring work progresses on time, within budget and to high safety and quality standards.

Based at Lindum's head office with site visits, you will lead pre-construction activities, maintain client relationships, and drive project delivery from inception to handover.

Qualifications

• Experience as Contracts Manager on new build and refurbishment projects.
• Knowledge of NHBC / LABC warranty requirements.
• Experience with JCT and NEC forms of contract.
• Experience managing live construction contracts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular client contact and lead progress meetings.
• Travel to sites across Lincolnshire and the East Midlands with a full valid driving licence.
• Produce tender programmes, prelims, and methodology at bid stage; assist estimator.
• Lead pre-construction team meetings and manage design team and subcontractors.
• Plan and manage projects, produce construction phase plans and safety paperwork.
• Oversee construction and delivery, manage health & safety and environmental aspects.
• Prepare requests for information; assist with cost value reports and subcontract procurement.
• Produce monthly progress reports and chair site meetings; maintain client relationships.
• Support site managers and ensure RAMs and method of working are suitable.
• Procure long lead items; coordinate services and highway adoption procurement.
• Attend contracts manager labour and cost value meetings; handover to customer care team.
