Brandon Trust in Clevedon is seeking a dedicated Children’s Project Leader to support children and young people aged 5-18 across community and home settings. The role combines hands-on care with leadership, guiding colleagues to uphold high standards of care and safeguarding practices.

You will work within a 7-day rota, including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts, providing child-centred support that respects each child’s views and individuality.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working with children and young people in a care, support or childcare setting.
• Strong caring, patient, and child-focused approach.
• Proven communication, organisation and leadership abilities.

Aufgaben

• Provide personalised support tailored to each child's needs, preferences and goals.
• Promote independence, confidence and life-skill development.
• Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, meals, medication and education routines.
• Plan and deliver meaningful activities supporting development and wellbeing.
• Help children access their local community and social opportunities.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, social workers and health professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and safeguarding compliance.
• Support, coach and mentor Support Workers to deliver high-quality care.
• Contribute to team meetings, quality improvements, audits and inspections.
