Job summary

Elite Escapes in the United Kingdom is seeking a Remote Travel Planner (Sales-Focused) to design and tailor trips, turning client conversations into booked itineraries from first inquiry to confirmed reservation—whether for a solo journey, a group trip, a destination wedding or a family getaway.

This fully remote role can be part-time or full-time, with onboarding and ongoing coaching on products, suppliers, and sales-driven planning.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and people skills; able to handle objections and guide clients to a decision.
• Ability to juggle multiple quotes, itineraries and bookings without dropping details.
• Fast learner with new tools – CRMs, booking engines, analytics dashboards, and collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Craft personalized travel plans with flights, stays, tours, cruises and packages.
• Connect with clients to uncover their ideal trip and confidently close the sale.
• Resolve questions about payments, date changes, upgrades and add-ons promptly and professionally.
• Add insider knowledge to recommend unique experiences and timely deals.
• Support clients from pre-trip planning to payment coordination, on-trip assistance and post-trip follow-ups.

As a Remote Travel Planner (Sales-Focused), you'll turn travel dreams into booked itineraries by pairing destination expertise with a consultative, client-first sales approach. You'll design custom trips while guiding clients from their first what if? to a confirmed reservation — whether it's a solo escape, a group getaway, a destination wedding, or a family travel experience.

What You'll Do

• Craft personalized travel plans: flights, stays, tours, cruises, and packages built around each client's budget, style, and must-haves.
• Connect with clients to uncover their ideal trip, present tailored options, and confidently close the sale.
• Resolve questions and concerns promptly and professionally (payments, date changes, room upgrades, add-ons, etc.).
• Add value with insider knowledge: hidden gems, top photo spots, local experiences, and timely deals that make each trip special.
• Stay with clients from start to finish — pre-trip planning and payment coordination, on-trip support, and post-trip follow-ups and reviews.

What You Bring

• Strong communication and people skills; comfortable leading conversations, handling objections, and guiding clients to a decision.
• Ability to juggle multiple quotes, itineraries, and bookings without dropping details.
• Fast learner when it comes to new tools — CRMs, booking engines, analytics dashboards, and collaboration platforms.
• Background in sales, customer service, hospitality, or travel is a bonus, but not required — we provide full training.
